Life Coaching

What is Life Coaching?

Life Coaching can help to inspire and motivate you to achieve your goals, and realise your ambitions and potential. It mainly focuses on the future and on the possibilities for creating a more fulfilling and satisfying life and can be particularly helpful if you are interested in self-improvement and personal and professional development. In this respect, life coaching is different from psychological therapy, which is more concerned with helping people to address distressing emotional and psychological problems.

What happens in life coaching?

My life coaching approach is based on psychological principles and change strategies which underpin Cognitive Behavioural and Mindfulness-Based Therapies, Solution Focused Therapy and on the latest knowledge from the field of neuroscience.

The focus is on helping my clients to:

  • Create a detailed and hope-inspiring vision of the changes they desire

  • Define clear and achievable goals as steps toward realising these changes

  • Gather the resources they will need to achieve their goals

  • Uncover and deal with self-defeating thinking and limiting beliefs, and replacing them with a problem-solving approach to life

  • Take concrete steps to achieve their goals

  • Evaluate progress and build on past successes

  • Anticipate and plan how to deal with future challenges and maintain positive changes

Is life coaching right for me:

Life coaching can help in many different aspects of life. We specialise in working with people who want to make positive changes in the following areas of their lives:

  • Achieving a better work/life balance

  • Building resilience to reduce and manage stress

  • Overcoming procrastination and increasing productivity

  • Improving interpersonal communication and relationships

  • Developing assertiveness

  • Overcoming performance anxiety associated with giving work-related presentations, public speaking and stage fright (e.g. for actors, musicians)

If you are you looking for some inspiration and professional support to help you realise the best of yourself and achieve more of the things that are important to you then life coaching might be the best options for you.
